Adobe Photoshop

From ColourWiki

As a leader in the digital graphics art market, it seems important to study the behaviour of Adobe products.

Here some notes about PhotoShop (9), part of CS2:

It uses since CS(2?) Adobe Bridge to stay in sync with other applications within the Adobe creative suite (CS). Adobe Bridge works like a second colour management gui, for osX 10.4 now the only. Of course Adobe Bridge has other assignments too.

As I figured out in a PS session, blackpoint compensation (bpc) is switched on by default. This feature is documented, thanks to Adobe, and available through the lcms API. I found only one place to edit this setting - in the preferences.

The CM presets in Photoshop look much like what is planed as policies for Oyranos.
